8TH ANNUAL LISTENING ROOM INTERNATIONAL SONGWRITER RETREAT, SAMSØ
A maximum of twenty international songwriters will gather once again on the beautiful island of Samsø, Denmark,
August 23-30, 2009 for an intensive week focused on co-writing and development of craft.
During the week, writers participate in daily vocal and body warm ups, discussion groups, assigned co-writing,
and evening song sharing circles, as well as private career consultations.
Two Listening Room Concerts are also presented as part of the retreat week at the hotel at weeks' end.
Participation consideration is open to all writers, based on a review of their current works.
Limited to 20 students. The participation fee is 7000 Danish kroner
for the week long event, based on shared rooms and including meals.
