'Songwriters On Stage' is a live performance presentation of performing songwriter/artists which
can be successfully integrated into multiple event formats.

The selected artists hail from a vibrant, worldwide community which nurtures and produces skilled
song crafters and performers, who travel the country and world, touching audiences with their songs
and stories. While a limited few go on to rise to national recognition, like past 'Listening Room'
performers Jonatha Brooke, Lisa Loeb, Ellis Paul, Teitur, Dar Williams and more, most are known
primarily to audiences who seek out this level of quality musical experience, or discover them by
chance on public radio, or at arts fairs, festivals or concert series.

The "Writers In The Round" format, featuring upcoming performing songwriters and writers of well
known hit songs, is best presented in a controlled, indoor "listening room environment".
Audiences get to hear the stories and inspiration behind many of their favorite songs from
contemporary radio to the golden oldies of their youth. An excellent adjunct to workshops programs
on creativity and expression.

When integrated into an existing venue or arts event, these various presentations of acoustic based
original music compliment an atmosphere celebrating craftsmanship and originality, as well as
generating additional press and event attendance. Over the past several years, it has been my good
fortune to have presented such events to audiences in major cities around the world, including Bergen,
Cannes, Copenhagen, Hong Kong, London, Nashville, New York, Portland, Toronto and Washington DC.,
as well as similar special events at venues including The Sierra Madre Playhouse, Eagle Rock Community
Cultural Center, High Sierra and Napa Valley Music Festivals, Orange Blossom Festival
and Coachhouse Theater among others.

There are several ways to format these presentations, from full day shows to special guest spots,
with a flexible budget depending on facilities and number of artists presented, and often at substantially
less total cost than hiring a full day of standard "cover music" entertainment.
